Ten Blessings and Gifts of Being an Episcopal Church
Everyone participates in
our worship, and it is beautiful.
We believe God speaks to
and through lay and clergy alike and are structured to function in that way.
We work to be inclusive
and we continue to be open to new areas where oppression continues.
We don’t pretend
everyone actually believes (or should believe) the same things.
We seek God both in our
church and in the world.
We believe no one group
in church or society owns the gospel.
We seek to make a
difference in our community by works that express our faith.
Locally, our two most
popular slogans are “God loves you. No exceptions.” AND “Love God, love your neighbor, Change the
world.”
God pronounced the world
“good” and meant it. Therefore we don’t
condemn the world but seek and support goodness and grace within it.
Incarnational theology
of reconciliation and salvation….
We serve 800 people a week with food from the Pantry. All are welcome to join this ministry. Jesus said it very simply, "Feed the hungry."
The Food Pantry is experiencing shortages of some products. The following item are needed:
- Cereal
- canned tuna
- peanut butter
- spaghetti sauce
- canned fruit
We are also in need of plastic grocery bags. We use a minimum of 100 bags per week to bag dairy products that don't do well in paper bags.
Food Pantry is open Wednesday and Friday 9 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
